Did you know that “Pilates” is a person's last name?

Yes, dear Joseph Pilates gave us this type of exercise in the early 1900s and it has become an exercise practiced all over the world for years.

There are six principles of Pilates; concentration, control, centering, breathing, precision, rhythm. The main benefits are; Muscle Strength and Flexibility.

We will build power by focusing on our central region

Posture Correction; as your abdominal muscles get stronger, you will not believe the power of your upright posture.

Increased muscle balance and stability; you will protect your body against possible pain.

Mental relaxation and awareness with Breath Control; you will reconnect with your breath and experience the flow of breath as in Yoga exercises.

Increasing mobility in daily life; you will now be able to bend over and lie down more comfortably.

And of course :) Weight Control; with eyebrow growth, metabolism will accelerate and tightening will occur (of course if you support it with a balanced diet plan :))

In our classes, our main focus will be on our abdominal area and we will focus on strengthening our hip and leg muscles. In this way, we will protect our joints with eyebrow growth and reach a healthy body.

A quick note since we hear this question a lot: “Is mat pilates enough? Wouldn’t it be better if we did pilates with equipment known as Reformer or Cadillac?”

Both types are based on the basic principles of Mat Pilates.

In the Pilates with Equipment style, resistance is added using springs, equipment, belts and ropes. Apart from the resistance, the exercises are based on basic Pilates principles, so the content is the same.

In mat pilates, exercises are done with body weight and thus, joints are not overloaded. Thus, it is suitable for people of all ages and levels. As strength increases, variations are shaped according to the student's level and difficulty is increased only with equipment such as exercise bands / dumbbells (weights).
