Sweet Borders

"Do Your Best" is a quote about going deep in yoga practice and many things in life.

This may sound simple at first, but it actually has a very clear and profound meaning.

Doing your best means not doing more or less. There is a limit; this limit is not a place where you push yourself or break down, but on the contrary, it is the most suitable and sweet limit for you.

This limit is not to do your best for 6-7 hours a day or to be lazy by betraying your potential. This limit can be different for each moment.

In the morning you are energetic, the best of that moment is different; maybe you are hungover in the morning, the best of that moment is different; or you are sick, you have a small injury, you have to find the best of that moment. Finding that best and performing well at that moment accordingly means deepening from a yoga perspective.

Demonstrating the best in yoga practice is not a place where you force your mind’s ambitions and agenda onto your body. On the contrary, it is a practice where the mind is in harmony with the body, where you listen to the body and get in touch with the body’s intelligence. You don’t have to be very flexible to do this; just being present is enough. That’s why it’s so important to listen to the body and not take action to force it into a place it doesn’t want to be.

Exploring the Sweet Frontier

There is a sweet spot. Finding and discovering that sweet spot is the key to deepening your yoga practice. You are energetic in the morning, the best of that moment is different; maybe you are hungover in the morning, the best of that moment is different; or you are sick, you have a small injury, you have to find the best of that moment. Finding that best and performing well in that moment is what deepening is from a yoga perspective.

Adaptation and Presence

Demonstrating the best in yoga practice is not a place where you force your mind’s ambitions and agenda onto your body. On the contrary, it is a practice where the mind is in harmony with the body, where you listen to the body and get in touch with the body’s intelligence. Intention and Motto

"Do the best you can, but no more, no less. There's a sweet spot. You find that sweet spot. You explore and hang in there."

Deepening your yoga practice is about being present in each moment and working in harmony with the body's intelligence. This is a principle that can be applied not only in yoga practice but in all areas of life.
